Overview

Sherrie Armstrong Davis (Partner) is a trial and appellate litigator who represents companies and individuals in high-stakes environmental, toxic tort, product liability, and commercial litigation. Since 2022, Sherrie and founding partner Phil Combs have coordinated the defense of the largest environmental toxic tort litigation in the nation — work that draws on her deep experience managing complex, multi-party disputes.

Sherrie defends consumer product and medical device manufacturers alongside members of the natural resources, chemical, mineral, and electric power generation industries and their trade groups. She handles litigation, regulatory, and counseling matters arising under a broad range of environmental statutes. She has also served as outside counsel for a state department of environmental protection.

In the product liability arena, Sherrie defends manufacturers against claims in individual, mass, class, and multidistrict litigations. She has handled bellwether and wave cases in MDLs across multiple jurisdictions, including Florida, South Carolina, and West Virginia.

Prior to joining the firm, Sherrie practiced Environmental and Torts law at an Am Law 100 firm in Washington, D.C. She brings a collaborative approach to every engagement and has extensive experience leading virtual law teams defending complex torts.
